Full-Day Trauma-Informed Training
My full-day training is the deepest, most immersive trauma-informed learning experience I offer. This six-hour session is designed for organisations ready to go beyond awareness and move into meaningful cultural change. The full day allows us to explore trauma, safeguarding practice and professional responsibility with the level of depth these subjects deserve.
Throughout the day, I share my lived experience in a structured, trauma-informed way that gives teams a true understanding of the emotional and behavioural impact of trauma. I guide participants through victim psychology, trauma responses, communication difficulties, fear cycles, systemic failures, inconsistent safeguarding practice and how organisational culture can either protect or harm vulnerable people.
Because we have a full day together, we can move through learning at a safe pace. We build insight step by step — not rushing, not overwhelming — and create space for honest reflection, discussion and professional connection. Teams often reach breakthrough moments during this session: a perspective shift, a realisation about their own practice, or a deeper awareness of how trauma shapes the people they serve.

The Details
Full-day training also addresses the emotional impact on staff. Many professionals carry difficult stories, emotional exhaustion and pressure that goes unspoken. I create a space where this can be acknowledged safely, helping teams understand burnout, detachment, emotional fatigue and how to maintain boundaries and wellbeing.
This training is ideal for police forces, safeguarding partnerships, NHS teams, social care services, education staff, charities and multi-agency networks wanting long-term, meaningful change.
